Ich habe Glück gehabt und konnte mir jetzt endlich einen neuen Monitor bestellen. Es ist sogar einer mit S-PVA Panel geworden. Ich bin schon ganz gespannt wie meine Bilder damit aussehen!

Zur Belohnung gibt es dann am Montag auch wieder mindestens ein Bild von mir.

I got lucky and could finally order a new display. It even has an S-PVA panel. I'm really curious how my pictures will look on that!

As a reward I'll post at least one new picture on monday.

Ausstellung, die Zweite - my 2nd exhibtion

In der Kirche in Fürstenau (Geising) ist seit heute meine zweite Ausstellung zu sehen.

Since today my second exhibition is on display in Fürstenau (Geising).

Im hinteren Berich der Kirche hat die Gemeinde einen schönen Bereich für Ausstellungen geschaffen, in dem meine Bilder sehr gut zur Geltung kommen.

In the back of the church is a beautiful area for exhibtions that accentuates my pictures very nicely.

Die Ausstellung geht bis Ende Oktober, zugänglich ist sie nach den Gottesdiensten, oder aber nach Absprache mit dem Pfarramt Geising.

The exhibition will be on display until end of october. It is open after the church services. Alternatively you can arrange an appointment with the rectory of Geising.

Das Foto Projekt - the Photo Project

Scott Lidell hat ein meiner Meinung nach tolles Projekt gestartet: das Foto Projekt.

Dafür sucht er Bilder, die er für Fotobücher verwenden darf. Der Erlös aus diesen Büchern soll dann für wohltätige Zwecke auf der ganzen Welt gespendet werden.

Die Urheberrechte der Bilder bleiben natürlich beim Fotografen, die Bilder werden nur in den entsprechenden Fotobüchernund auf der Projekt-Homepage genutzt.

Scott möchte auch gerne ein Buch mit Bildern von Ipernity zusammenstellen. Dazu hat er die Foto Projekt Gruppe gestartet.

He is looking for pictures to put in photo books. The revenue will be donated for charity all over the world.

The copyrights of the pictures remains with the photographer. The pictures will only be used in the according books and on the project website.

Scott would like to put together a bokk with pictures from ipernity. Thus he started the Photo Project group.

Tagesschau.de hat den Bundesadler interviewt. Eine wie ich finde amüsante Lektüre. Bei allen Schwächen finde ich es doch erstaunlich, wie weit virtuelle Agenten in der Gesprächsführung schon sind.

Es ist so weit...

Ich gehe meinen nächsten Schritt und zeige eine kleine Auswahl meiner Bilder.

Von der Natur gerahmt werde ich sie bei uns im Garten aufstellen, und wen es interessiert, der kommt einfach im Verlauf des Sonntags, den 2.8. nach Pirna, Oberposta 59.

PS: Da das ganze draußen stattfindet, muss es leider bei zu schlechtem Wetter ausfallen.

You may wonder, why I'm not so active here at the moment.

Whitewall redesigned their interface and rules. This gave me the opportunity to redesign www.Arne-Jaeger.de. And now I'm busy uploading more of my work. Since my internet connection isn't really that fast, that's quite a timeconsuming activity...

I use this chance though to rummage through my older pictures and reedit some of them like these two:

Ein paar von Euch fragen sich vielleicht, warum ich in letzter Zeit nicht mehr so viel hier gemacht habe.

Whitewall hat das Interface gründlich überarbeitet. Dadurch konnte ich www.Arne-Jaeger.de neu gestalten. Und jetzt bin ich die ganze Zeit dabei weitere Bilder hochzuladen. Da meine Internetanbindung nicht gerade die schnellste ist, ist das doch recht zeitintensiv...

Ich nutze die Gelegenheit aber auch um noch mal alte Bilder durchzugehen und teilweise auch neu zu bearbeiten, wie diese beiden hier:
