Videos of not more than a few seconds and a still frame capturing a moment, a whole movement, a feeling ... something like moving photos (or as flickr recently called them, long photos) ... try it! :-) Sonant (thanks to ileana for the term) is a special type of a video photo for which the natural background sound plays an important role in the photo ... try them too! :-)

They did it in flickr ... max. 90 secs and they called them "long photos" ... not a bad name :-)

Something like "live photo", "moving photo" ... without the term video ... to give emphasis on the photo part ...

And how could we search in google for similar "projects"?

I am sure that there are, but searching with "video photo" it is difficult to find them :-)

(sorry for deleting posts that do not follow this definition ... there are strict rules in this group! :-))

By the way, I also wanted to say that although I had tried many times in the past to take such video photos I was not very successful (except the ones I just posted here) ... but xdrei's perfect video photo inspired me to try again ... you should also try it ... it is very interesting! (and not easy at all!)
