They did it in flickr ... max. 90 secs and they called them "long photos" ... not a bad name :-)

I think that the term "video photo" is misleading ... what would be a better name? Something like "live photo", "moving photo" ... without the term video ... to give emphasis on the photo part ...

And how could we search in google for similar "projects"?

I am sure that there are, but searching with "video photo" it is difficult to find them :-)

A video photo is more a "moving" photo than a normal video ... it should have a still frame (trembling hands are accepted :-)) and no more than 1minute duration ...

(sorry for deleting posts that do not follow this definition ... there are strict rules in this group! :-))

By the way, I also wanted to say that although I had tried many times in the past to take such video photos I was not very successful (except the ones I just posted here) ... but xdrei's perfect video photo inspired me to try again ... you should also try it ... it is very interesting! (and not easy at all!)
