Architecture Groups

Can someone please explain, what sense does this make? Why do we need architecture and architecture (2)? This is nonsense. Is there a way to migrate both groups?

Zum Tode von Oswald Mathias Ungers, dem wichtigsten Umwälzer in der Architektur der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts
Die Architektur, so hat er einmal gesagt, "ist nichts anderes als Erweiterung von Bewusstsein". Sie stoße den Blick in "neue Bewusstseinswelten" auf, schaffe "Wirklichkeiten" nicht nur für Leben im vordergründigen Sinne, sondern für Denken, Konzentration, Kontemplation. Es griffe deshalb viel zu kurz, Oswald Mathias Ungers einen Architekten des Übergangs zu nennen. Er war ein Fundamentalist, einer, an dem sich die Zeiten schieden. Einer, der grundsätzlicher als jeder andere die Lehr- und Leerformeln der Nachkriegsarchitektur in Frage gestellt hat. Wie erst jetzt bekannt wurde, ist Ungers am vergangenen Sonntag im Alter von 81 Jahren in Köln an den Folgen einer Lungenentzündung gestorben.

Ich habe mir mal die Mühe gemacht und im Internet recherchiert für welche Projekte er denn der Architekt war. Neben dem Wallraff-Richartz-Museum und dem Römisch-Germanischen Museum in Köln hat er auch einige Wohnhäuser konzipiert.

Auch dort habe ich Adressen rausgefunden. Nur leider steht beispielsweise bei zwei Wohnhäusern nur "Aachener Straße, Köln" als Adresse.
Ärgerlich, wenn man bedenkt daß die Aachener Straße in Köln rund 1500 Häuser hat und geschätzte 8 km lang ist.

Aber wer mir da Hinweise geben kann, welche Häuser das sein sollen, der kann ja gerne mal was von sich hören lassen :-)

I had set a link to this group in the group-description, maybee this could be done here, too - to set up a listing of architecture-related groups?

i am really sorry - there are some great images in this group, but (as in most architectural groups) looking at concrete and glass for the 100th time (from down low to up above or with a vanishing point) gets boring (at least for me) - show more courage, find unexpected views, find buildings without concrete/glass, play around with photoshop - be different from zillions of other shots

ps: just to avoid being misunderstood - looking thru my own collection of architectural photos: i make the same mistake !

est-ce qu'il faut montrer l'architecture sous sa forme droite ? Détournée ? Epaissie de textures ? Sale, tâchée, cassée...
L'architecture est-il un noble sujet ? Plus noble que l'humain défaillant ?
