Hi there,

I started the Nikon D300 group back when I was looking forward to a large cash amount and planned on buying the D300.

Unfortunately the cash was held back for almost a year, and I instead bought the Nikon D700.

Hallo liebe Nikonfreunde,

als erstes möchten wir uns mal kurz vorstellen...

Wir sind der Wolfgang Roth und der Andreas Terner und wir möchten euch gerne auf ein neues, kleines Forum aufmerksam machen.

Das digital-photoworld-Forum sucht Gleichgesinnte, die eine Nikon D300 ihr Eigen
nennen, oder ihre Anschaffung planen.
Natürlich sind auch User aller anderen Nikon-Kameras herzlich willkommen.

Viele werden sich jetzt fragen : "Warum denn noch ein Nikon-Forum ?"

Nun... da wir beide schon eine kleine Ewigkeit der Marke Nikon treu sind und auch
die Foren kennen, die sich rund um Nikon gebildet haben... haben wir trotz der
Vielfalt doch das gewisse "etwas" vermisst.
Man kann es in etwa so vergleichen... Ihr würdet doch euren Ferrari auch zu Ferrari in
die Werkstatt bringen und nicht zu Fiat.

Die ganzen Nikon-Foren sind wie die Fiat-Werkstätten, wir hingegen wollen mit eurer Unterstützung eine Ferrari-Werkstatt werden... sprich ein Forum speziell für die
Nikon D300.

Wenn Du dich davon angesprochen fühlst und/oder Interesse hast, würden wir uns sehr über eine Nachricht von Dir freuen.

I am a bit concerned about the fact that on Ipernity the most populated Nikon D300 group (this one) has only 30 members. The Nikon D300 users group (one of the many...) has 4.870 members at the moment !!!

Nikon D300 get 6 stars in Danish magazine

Danish IT magazine reviews the Nikon D300 and gives it 6 stars out of 6.

On the positive side they have the large LCD monitor, 6 fps, HDMI and Live View (even though at first they thought it to be useless).

On the negative side they mention the price and the lack of danish menus (Canon has danish menus).

16 modules d'optimisation d'image (Picture Control) .....

Picture Control (Optimisation d'image) dans les D300 présente une logique toute nouvelle : Nikon vous offre en standard 4 modules préchargés et vous suggère de charger 3 autres provenant des D2X. (Portrait, Neutre, Paysage).

Il vous réserve 9 autres modules à votre convenance, soit au total 16 modules.

Pour l'instant, Nikon ne vous autorise pas à créer ces 9 modules en partant de zéro. En effet, vous devez copier à partir de l'un des modules existants puis adapter les copies à votre sauce.

En dehors des réglages classiques (accentuation, contraste, luminosité,saturation,teinte), vous pouvez également imposer une courbe comme adaptation personnelle.

Il vous suffit alors d'importer une courbe existante dans l'un des ces 9 modules personnalisables, puis exporter le résultat sur votre D300. (Logiciel à utiliser : ViewNX).

PS : ne pas oublier l'étape finale (Gérer l'optimisation d'image, sur votre D300) pour rendre ces nouveaux modules utilisables, comme vous l'aviez fait avec les trois modules de D2X.

Pour les puristes aimant de belles couleurs. D300 peut désormais imiter et reproduire les nuances et les réglages des couleurs des D2X.

Il vous suffit de :
1 - Télécharger un bidule *.exe (Cf. Le lien ci-dessus)
2 - Exécuter ce bidule qui va créer automatiquement un répertoire NIKON pour y mettre trois autres bidules de réglage (Portrait, post-traitement, Paysage).
3 - Copier ce répertoire et son contenu sur sur une carte CF. Le répertoire NIKON doit se trouver immédiatement à la racine, et pas sous un autre répertoire de cette carte CF.
4 - Insérer cette carte dans votre D300 , puis mettre le D300 en service.
5 - Dans le menu :
- Sélectionner "Gérer l'optimisation d'image"
- Puis "Enregistrer/Charger" pour transférer , un à un ces trois bidules de réglage de votre carte à votre D300.

C'est simple à faire selon cette manière.
