All postings to this group must be original content taken by the poster. Any content that you did not take yourself will not be allowed unless you have permission by the original owner and give credit in the notes.

This is not just the policy of this group but also part of Ipernity's Terms of Service to all members of Ipernity.

6.2 Be reminded that both the illicit exchange of protected works and

It is the policy of this group to enforce these guidelines. Any content that you do not specifically have the right to copy and/or reproduce will be removed without notice.

Basically, IF YOU DID NOT TAKE IT, DON'T POST IT HERE

While it is this groups intent not to allow postings that do not belong the poster, it is practically very difficult to tell if a poster was the owner of the image or not. Sometimes it is very easy to tell with a "photo by" still on a image. Sometimes you may recognize the image from having seen it in another group by a different member or from a different photo sharing site.

If you see any image posted here that belong to someone other than the poster, please notify this groups admins and that image will be removed. Repeat violators of this policy will be removed from the group.

A change in submission policy

To many of the submissions to this group are just candid shots of girls walking. There are already many groups where these types of shots are accepted here at Ipernity.

The original idea of this group was to provide a group that would require the person in the image to be actually doing something. Meaning running (exercising), working, riding a vehicle like a scooter or bicycle, climbing a ladder, or anything that would show a person DOING something. Some action should be displayed.

Images not acceptable would be someone reading a book, sleeping, sitting at a bus stop or bench, or just walking. Persons in vehicles where you cannot recognize the person are also not acceptable.

All submissions will now be moderated. If the image does not show some kind of action or motion it will not be approved for this group.

I'd like to thank all the new members to this group. With all the invitations and groups available, for you to chose "People In Motion" is an honor to me. I am excited about this new group. To see people in action/motion is a special treat for me. i hope you agree and have some good work to post of your own.

Like all my groups that I admin, I like to keep the rules to a minimum. Just 2 rules:

1. It must have people/person as the main subject. No running dogs or race cars on a track.

2. There must be some kind of indication that subject is in motion in the image. Sitting on a park bench or watching TV does not count. But kissing or hugging is good as well as eating food.

There will be no posting limits at the present time. Comment only if you like.

Secret Shots just wasn't getting enough new members or postings. Besides there are already several candid street groups that cover this area of photography very well.

One my favorite types of candid street photography involved people in motion. I just love to catch someone riding a bike or playing some sport. This group will be dedicated to this type of images.

Only 2 rules.

New Proposal

It seems that this groups topic is covered already by several other groups. Basicly this is the same as several candid groups.

I would like this group to be redefined into a separate segement of the same type of image. I propose to make this a People In Motion group.

This would include runners, joggers, or just walking, but must be moving in some form. Here the focus is on movement. I love shots of girls riding bicycles or skateboards. Blurryness is not a problem and in some cases even add to the image style.

If I don't get any objections I would like to convert the name and purpose of the group sometime next month.

Any imput would be appreciated.
