Ĉu iu uzas Unestenon? Ĝi aspektas al mi tre komplika. Mi vidis vikipedie ke espe dum la pasinta jarcento oni uzis diversajn rapidskribajn sistemojn, sed mi ne scias kiom sukcese, tio estas, kiuj el ili pli praktikaj estis.

Mi lernis mem la svedan de Melin antaŭ nemultaj jaroj, kaj tute trafaris el tiu elirpunkto kaj ellaboris ege fonetikan rapidskribon por ajna lingvo, nomatan Langola skribo. Per ĝi mi tre facile rapidskribas esperanton, ankaŭ mia edzino.

I have recently completed hand lettering a script I designed for the front entrance to my Studio. The lettering required "One-Shot" lettering paint and a Russian Squirrel lettering brush. Because of the hairy and absorbent nature of the canvas, three coats of paint was required. From an eight foot ladder, it required 11 hours to complete. My real penchant is for pen and ink. The new owner of the building where my Studio resides, installed this new canopy and asked me to address it.

Hand lettering is the most exciting form I have found to express oneself with a brush. Pens and ink are the next direct connection with the written script. The pliability of the brush leaves no avenue left to 'feel', in the action of performing with ink or paint. Creativity with the brush in developing expressive scripting cannot be rivalled.

My other enjoyment is working with the original crow plume, or, crow feather. The freedom of sweep as you swing the feather over parchment opens a dark memory of when the monks were scribing back in the middle ages. The connection is quite exciting!

Paint is not as free to express with, I must admit, and the canvas I had to work with did not allow anything approaching a 'free' hand in speed and accuracy, yet the finished product will be enjoyed by all who enter my door!

Estis bona ideo krei la subgrupojn, sed en la praktiko estas malpraktike serĉi inter multaj tiaj "diskuteroj". La solvo al mi - spite al la jam farita laboro - ŝajnas pli facila:
aldonu 'temo'-etikedon kun aŭ la lingvokodo (ISO) aŭ simple kun la nomo de la skribo, ekz. 'kirila'. Kaj sufiĉas "serĉi en grupo" aŭ simple en la tuta Ipernity-dokumentaro kaj vi tuj trovos la dokumentojn kiuj portas tiun temo-etikedon.

Do, nun necesas simple decidi kiel plej bone aldoni la temo-etikedojn. Nu, estas mia propono.

Es war eine gute Idee, die Untergruppen anzulegen, aber in der Praxis ist es unpraktisch, in vielen derartigen "Diskussionsstücken" zu suchen. Die Lösung erscheint mir - trotz der bereits geleisteten Arbeit - einfacher:
füge einen Stichwort-Tag mit entweder dem Sprachencode (ISO) oder einfach dem Namen der Schrift, z.B. "Kyrillisch" hinzu. Und dann reicht "in der Gruppe suchen" oder einfach in allen ipernity-Dokumenten, und man findet sofort alle Dokumente die diesen Stichwort-Tag tragen.
Also, jetzt muss einfach nur entschieden werden, wie man am besten die Stichwort-Tags hinzufügt. Na ja, das ist mein Vorschlag.

It was a good idea to create subgroups, but in practice it is impractical to search among many such "discussion bits". The solution seems to me - in spite of the work already done - simpler:
add a keyword tag with either the language code (ISO) or simply the name of the script, e.g. "cyrillic". Then it's enough to "search in group" or simply in all ipernity docs, and you find at once all documents having that keyword tag.
So, now it simply needs to be decided, how best to add the keyword tags. Well, that's my proposal.

To celebrate the 1000th contribution - thanks, Toeko -, I want to introduce pseudo-subgroups for different writing systems. As ISO recently defined a code (ISO 15924) for writing systems, the titles of the subgroups will be the respective codes. I will do without a subgroup for Latin script which is shown by most of our pictures. Please be patient while the subgroups are built.

Por festi la 1000-an kontribuon - dankon, Toeko -, mi volas enkonduki kvazaŭ-subgrupojn por diversaj skribsistemoj. Ĉar ISO antaŭ nelonge difinis kodon (ISO 15924) por skribsistemoj, la titoloj de la subgrupoj estos la koncernaj kodoj. Mi rezignos pri subgrupo por latina skribo kiun montras plej multaj el niaj bildoj. Bonvolu pacienci dum konstruado de la subgrupoj.

Um den 1000. Beitrag zu feiern - danke, Toeko -, will ich Pseudo-Untergruppen für verschiedene Schriftsysteme einführen. Weil ISO kürzlich eine Code (ISO 15924) für Schriftsysteme definiert hat, werden die Titel der Untergruppen die entsprechenden Codes sein. Ich werde auf eine Untergruppe für lateinische Schrift verzichten, welche die meisten unserer Bilder zeigen. Bitte habt Geduld während die Untergruppen aufgebaut werden.

La regularo de la grupo diras, ke ĝi estas por "Fotoj kaj aliaj dokumentoj kiuj rilatas al tipografio, alfabetoj, skribsistemoj k.s." Tion oni povas tamen interpreti tre larĝe. Ĉiu ajn teksto ja ĉiam estas farita en iu tipografio, en iu alfabeto kaj en iu skribsistemo. Do fakte oni povus revortumi la regularon al la kruda "fotoj kun tekstoj". Kaj, rigardante la pli ol 600 fotoj en tiu ĉi grupo, oni rimarkas, ke ŝajne pluraj efektive tiel interpretas la regularon.

The rules of this group state that it's for "Photos and other documents relating to typography, alphabets, writing systems and the like" This can be interpreted very large. Any text is always made in some typography, some alphabet and some writing system. So actually one could reword the rules to a raw "Photos with texts". And, looking at the more than 600 photos in this group, one can remark, that seemingly many have actually interpreted the rules this way.
Because I did hesitate myself some days ago whether a certain picture is appropriate, I asked the founder about his intentions. This is how he describes them (at a href="www.ipernity.com/doc/32751/1054311">www.ipernity.com/doc/32751/1054311):

I founded the group and did not clearly decribe it.
For sure I did have myself a clear idea what kind of pictures would be appropriate to the group accroding to my own preference: pictures that are interesting for uncommon typography, or writing system, or way of writing, or material used to form the latter etc. - shortly, I am first of all interested in the form, not the content. (I don't mean that content does not interest me in general; to the contrary! But it was not my motivation to found the group.)
On the other hand, I do esteem very much the collabroative atmosphere here on ipernity, and if I imposed my own taste onto the group, I'd act against this atmosphere. So I decided not to limit the group so clearly, and to wait and see what those will prefer who actively participate.
Furthermore, I suspected (and do observe now) that to a group with such a concise name 'Script' some do contribute for the content of the text in the picture, neglecting my nebulous allusion in the group description. And this wouldn't change if I described it more clearly.
I should emphasize too, that pictures which are not interesting to me for the form of the script do not annoy me in the group, as long as they don't become the majority. I would not like to refuse a picture for this reason. (Actually until now I refused only one picture with no script at all.)
I wrote a very long answer without answering the question. Perhaps we should start a discussion thread in the group?

Die Regeln der Gruppe besagen, dass sie für "Fotos und andere Dokumente, die mit Typographie, Alphabeten, Schriften usw. zu tun haben" sei. Das läßt sich sehr weit auslegen. Jeder Text ist ja immer mit irgendeiner Typographie gemacht, in irgendeinem Alphabet und irgendeinem Schriftsstem. Als könnte man die Regeln auch umschreiben in ein rohes "Bilder mit Text". Und wenn man sich die mehr als 600 Fotos in dieser Gruppe ansieht, merkt man, dass scheinbar viele die Regeln tatsächlich so auslegen.
Weil ich selbst vor ein paar Tagen zögerte, ob ein bestimmtes Bild taugt, habe ich den Gründer um Auskunft zu seinen Absichten gefragt. Er beschreibt sie folgendermaßen (auf der Seite www.ipernity.com/doc/32751/1054311):

Ich habe die Gruppe gegründet und nicht sehr klar beschrieben.
Sicher hatte ich selber eine klare Vorstellung davon, was für Bilder nach meiner Vorliebe für die Gruppe geeignet sind: Bilder die interessant sind wegen ungewöhnlicher Typographie, Schriftsystem, Schreibweise, oder wegen des Materials, mit dem die Zeichen gebildet werden u.ä. - kurz, mich interessiert in erster Linie die Form, nicht der Inhalt. (Damit will ich nicht sagen, dass Inhalt mich im Allgemeinen nicht interessiert; ganz im Gegenteil! Aber er war nicht mein Beweggrund für die Gruppe.)
Andererseits schätze ich sehr die konstruktive Atmosphäre hier auf ipernity, und wenn ich meinen Geschmack der Gruppe aufzwänge, würde das dieser Atmosphäre entgegenstehen. Also beschloss ich, die Gruppe nicht so klar einzuschränken, und abzuwarten, was diejenigen mögen, die aktiv an der Gruppe teilnehmen.
Außerdem vermute ich (und beobachte nun auch), dass zu einer Gruppe mit dem knappen Namen 'Schrift' einige doch wegen des Inhalts der Schrift im Bild beitragen, unter Vernachlässigung meiner nebulösen Andeutung in der Gruppenbeschreibung. Und das würde sich nicht ändern, wenn ich sie klarer beschriebe.
Ich will auch betonen, dass Bilder, die mich nicht wegen der Form der Schrift interessieren, mich dennoch nicht in der Gruppe stören, solange sie nicht zur Mehrheit werden. Ich würde überhaupt nicht gerne deswegen Beiträge zurückweisen. (Tatsächlich habe ich bisher nur ein einziges Bild zurückgewiesen, das gar keine Schrift enthielt.)
Jetzt habe ich eine sehr lange Antwort verfasst, die aber deine Frage gar nicht beantwortet. Vielleicht sollten wir ein Thema in den Diskussionen der Gruppe beginnen?
