so I now own a mac book pro (yay me!) but I was going to upload the 365 video i created, but the file size is huge for uploading (45mb)
I'm missing some step in my inexperience, on how to save a smaller file size, for upload to the internet, and I'm wondering if any of you understand what i am asking, and could help, and point me in the right direction.
I have a dsl connection, but it would take forever to upload a file that size

...Wie ich schon mal erwähnte ist die Video-Welt für mich noch recht neu. Ich habe mich also mit dem Thema "Format" noch sehr wenig beschäftigt.

Mir fällt auf, dass hier MPEG-Videos wesentlich schneller laden als WMA-Videos.
Warum ist dass so?

MPEG-Videos haben oft im Bildlauf ein Stottern und Rucken. Meistens bei schnellen Bewegungen oder Bildern mit vielen Details. Wie bekommt man das weg ohne dass die Datei zu groß wird?
Mein Video vom Alten Friedhof #065 habe ich deshalb als WMA hoch geladen weil eine MPEG-Variante einfach zu unansehnlich war.

I prefer SCREENFLOW ( www.flip4mac.com/screenflow.htm ) but i tested SCREENIUM ( www.synium.de/products/screenium/index.html ) yesterday. looks nice small and easy. both not free but with some nice features. several audio & video sources, add your isight or webcam capture and record your voice ... etc. brilliant for making screencasts, howtos and so on.

for windows i know these:
- WINK (windows & linux) : www.debugmode.com/wink (free!)
- CAMTASIA www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
- SNAGIT www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp (mostly for screenshots = pictures, not video)
