Hi everybody,

We've done a little pool cleaning. This group is only for ORIGINAL VIDEOS AND ANIMATIONS. PHOTOGRAPHS ARE ONLY ACCEPTABLE IF THEY LINK TO YOUR ORIGINAL VIDEOS.

I'm sure many of us have videos that we can't upload to Iper because the file size is larger than the allowed 90 MG.

I've discovered that I can import a video into Movie Maker (which can be found in all the latest versions of Windows) then publish it into a smaller file size.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how to reduce file size yet maintain acceptable video quality?

Just to pass along information . . .Looking at my videos uploaded onto Google, You Tube and Vimeo, I've found Vimeo to maintain best video quality.

Since there is a limit to the amount of space each of us has on Ipernity, you can post an image in this group with a link to your original video on other sites . . .such as Google, You Tube, Vimeo,Veoh to name a few.

All of my videos are now saved to CD, somewhere, and I may not take this up again soon, but I'll be glad to watch those of the legion of other members, and be arrogantly dismissive.

Seriously, thanks for inviting me. Gotta get me one of those hundred-dollar Target video cams, and learn how to subvert the intentions of its designers.
