The Warley show "Ducket Display" under the canopy at Blythe Bridge, hopefully it will help raise funds for the ABC project - certainly raised awareness, plenty of "when will the rest arrive ?" remarks.

Removed from Caversall Road in Dec 2017 : came up to Haltwhistle, to join the rest of the under construction NSR23.

Beginning the restoration process on what is a very solid and large lump of teak. This involves cleaning off the moss and lichen then removing the remains of countless small panel pins that were holding on the much decayed mahogany mouldings. Luckily, there are sufficient traces of paint and beadings to determine the detailed design.

Two side sections of the Rudyard remains in the workshop, prior to building the ducket display for the NSRRSRT. Initially this fundraising display appeared at the Warley Model Railway Show in November 2014

As this is a solid lump of teak, it will be a prominent part of the restored vehicle.

Looking at Knotty Coach Trust / Foxfield Railway Stand from the perspective of visitors to the Warley Show, the entrance is a short way behind and slightly to one side of the photographer. (I discovered that you could easily see the copper cap to Belle's chimney from the area just inside the entrance.
