I wish I knew where this university was. Does anyone recognize that tower?

Hmmm. Looking at images, I think this might be Wellesley College in Massachusetts.

My interpretation: The seated, apparently one-legged woman has begun to levitate. Her astonished, oddly masked friend follows her progress.

On a fashion note - love the patterned socks and (early?) saddle shoes.

This is a little lame compared to all the fantastic pictures posted for this week, but here they are - probably early 1920, a wonderful group of friendly women.
I have quite a few of this crowd (library truck ladies, the roller skate woman) - and I love the spirit that comes through in all of them.

When I first saw this photo, I thought she (he?) was wearing some sort of light bulbs on her head, but later I saw that they were watering cans.
This photograph is from the 1920s, but the young woman on the left looks like she could have stepped out from the 1970s.
