Having built the ramp, the haul-up cable has been run out.
After a quick clearance check, the next job will be to pull TR6 onto the low-loader.

The ironwork that runs across the coach is, or so I have been informed, something to do with controlling the steam heating - the pipework for which was removed many decades ago !

The roof sheet has been fitted, and the next task will be to re-fit the gutters - with enough sealant to keep the rain out !

Looking at the new interior of compartment five, whilst the work on fitting the newstriker plate takes place. The roof sheet fitting will continue tomorrow.

Work is progressing on several fronts. The roof planks have been given some protective treatment, including painting. and the exterior has had some minor repairs and painting is in progress.

The tarpaulin cover has been pulled back, to allow work on removing the old roof sheet, after the gutters were removed yesterday. Various cant rail repairs are in progress. At least one door is still on the bench. There is also some attention to the external panelling underway.

These two narrow planks have now been repaired, with a replacement section spliced in. The decision to do this was made after further examining the external side.
