Saturday 25 July 2026 (0934) – Southgate and Finchley Coaches JSV 454 seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills.

It is a Jonckheere JHV bodied Volvo B11R that had been new to Mearns Coaches, Blantyre, South Lanarkshire in January 2015 registered SG64 UYT.

Friday 17 July 2026 (0918) – An unusual sighting on the A11 near Fiveways, Barton Mills was of London sightseeing tour company Golden Tours 129 (BD16 YEG), a partial open top MCV eVoSeti bodied Volvo B5TL.

Delivered in May 2016, it was one of 20 such diesel powered buses (125-144) that the company is currently having re-powered with battery-electric drivelines by Equipmake based at Snetterton in Norfolk. I suspect therefore that that is where the bus was heading.

Friday 19 June 2026 (0859) – Southgate and Finchley Coaches YX17 OJE seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills.

It is a Plaxton Panther Cub bodied Volvo B8R that had been new to Anderson Travel, Bermondsey in May 2017. The Panther Cub is the variant for fitting to short wheelbase chassis.

It is a Plaxton Leopard bodied Volvo B8R new in May 2019.
