snuck a quick image of 66045, aka 696, on the short length of standard gauge "siding" - part of a display to explain "transhipment" to & from the Talyllyn Railway.

2ft3" waggon turntable on the transhipment dock at Wharf Station, Tywyn [Talyllyn Railway] - next to 66046
- and it is in remarkably good condition !

Another angle, showing the relative levels of the tracks on the Wharf. This will be the site of the transhipment display.

Of the four waggons in the view, two appear to be metal bodied "rubbish / waste" waggons , and then one furthest away looks very much like a Hudson "skip" waggon [side tipper].

E2A - 696 was craned onto a track panel in early November 2024 - the manoeuvre was protected by a temporary "blockade" of the main line ... some images *should* come my way soon.

We managed to repair two corner plates, but the other two had to be completely replaced as they were too wasted & had whole sections missing / patched.

There has been a late change to the livery specification, necessitating a repaint of the base colour. Once that has been done, and the "door bump stops" refitted, the signwriting will be done.
