A familiar building in the photo is the brach office of the Bank of Greece, founded in 1933 and completed in 1935, currently a listed structure.&lt;br /&gt;

Estimated date is summer of 1954. Most of the old-style buildings in the background were destroyed or damaged in the earthquake of April 1955 and afterwards they were rebuilt in different styles. Anonymous photographer, photograph in my collection. Copyright protection expired on December 31, 2024, based on the 1954 dating.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
