Sadly I don't think this class 37 will move much.
This is D6898 aka 37198{TOPS}. The Class 37s were designed by English Electric and built at their Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns works in Darlington. D6898 was the final locomotive built at the works before its closure. 37198 was withdrawn from service in 1999 and preserved before being resold to Network Rail in 2008. After being used as a spares donor for other class members, it was donated to the North Road / Head of Steam Museum in August 2021.

Looking down into the workshop where the A1 Locomotive Trust are constructing an example of the LNER P2 class, to be numbered as 2007 and named "Prince of Wales" - it will cost more than £5,000,000.00 to complete.

These are stone sleeper blocks, probably for fish-belly rails, some still have the cast iron rail chairs. The Stockton & Darlington Railway started off laid with these blocks. Eventually, the track became known as the "Permanent Way" ... Ignore the bit of modern "toy" track by the wall

Sadly, most people will not even notice these, as there was no visible interpretation.
However, I do know what they are !
I have seen these blocks reused in a number of places, including to edge slipways and beach access routes at the coast ...

It became evident that Railway Passengers needed certain facilities ... this was for the gentlemen. In addition there were a small number of Water Closets provided.
At some later point in time the "Ladies Waiting Rooms" were equipped with cubicles and WCs ...

This RSH 0-6-0T locomotive was originally built in 1938 as a saddle tank at their Darlington works, recorded as works number 6947 for Scunthorpe steel works [Appleby Frodingham - presumably that's where the 39 comes from].

Restored to Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns deep maroon livery around 2006 [although it looks freshly repainted here] - 'Stivvies' works was active in Darlington for a long time and built a wide variety of locos for home and abroad, the last ones being Class 37 diesel electrics.

Platform for a postilion / groom / footman to stand on, at the rear of the carriage.
The footman would jump down as the carriage rolled to a stop, go to the door, open it and unfold the step, perhaps assisting a lady to alight. The groom would hold the horses' heads.

The Stockton & Darlington Railway built this bridge in 1824 to cross the River Skerne, and it is still in use ! [the wing walls / abutments are later]. It was cleaned and cleared of vegetation in 2020.
In 2021 it became a Grade 1 listed structure, commemorating it's importance as a railway structure - and joining a very select club [only seven other members] as a Grade I listed railway bridge.
