Tuesday 28 October 2025 (1316) – Central Connect 348 (SK73 COJ), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D new in December 2023, seen in St. Andrew’s Street, Cambridge. Looking a little grubby with some missing letters from the fleetname on the rear.

Service 100 links Drummer Street Bus Station with Waterbeach and the Cambridge Research Park at Landbeach operating every 30 minutes. The tracker on the Bus Times website showed this bus had worked the 1245 service from Landbeach (due at the Bus Station at 1320 but arriving 1314). It then departed on time as the 1325 service back to Landbeach so I am not sure why it was at this location other than the driver taking a few minutes to himself in Park Terrace.

Tuesday 28 October 2025 (1316) – Central Connect 348 (SK73 COJ), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D new in December 2023, seen in on the corner of Emmanuel Street and St. Andrew’s Street in Cambridge.

Service 100 links Drummer Street Bus Station with Waterbeach and the Cambridge Research Park at Landbeach operating every 30 minutes. The tracker on the Bus Times website showed this bus had worked the 1245 service from Landbeach (due at the Bus Station at 1320 but arriving 1314). The lady crossing the road is keeping a very watchful eye on the cyclist racing towards where she is crossing.

Three Stagecoach East buses are in the background – yes, three because, horror of horrors and not noticed until I was studying the photograph at home, just visible between the two main subjects is 10802 (SN66 WAA) which carries the heritage Cambus livery celebrating 40 years of operation.

Tuesday 28 October 2025 (1224) – Stagecoach East 86028 (BV23 NTL) seen Trumpington Street, Cambridge. It is an MCV bodied Volvo BZL, one of the thirty electric double deckers placed in service in the city around May 2023 (Fleet numbers 86001-86030).

The rear light layout is quite different from the old traditional style round or even square formats.

Tuesday 28 October 2025 (1100) – Showing ‘Bus Full’ on the destination display, Stagecoach East 86010 (BV23 NRX) was seen in Trumpington Street, Cambridge as it arrived from Trumpington,on Park & Ride service PR3.

It is one of thirty MCV bodied Volvo BZL electric double deckers (numbered 86001-86030) that commenced regular service on the Cambridge Park & Ride services on Sunday 14 May 2023.

It is an MCV eVoTor bodied Volvo B11R that had been new to Imperial Coaches, Colnbrook in December 2022.
