At Poole - to represent all "old" lifeboats with a "Tamar" on behalf of the new lifeboats - for the unveiling of the RNLI's national memorial to those lifeboat crew lost "on service"........

One of ON594's first vists after her refit was to Harbour Day at Newbiggin-by-the-sea. The night before she stayed alongside "Mary Joicey" (which is another story !)

The resin used by the WHLT volunteers to sheath the hull has contracted into the weave of the glass cloth. SRR re-surfaced this to a gloss finish.

After restoration by Whitby Historic Lifeboats Trust........the orginal timber is painted, any varnished timber is new build by Stanegate Restorations.
