c14 conduit with added bits brought here from whitefriars in 1540. the c12 arch and bits of zigzag in the distance probably came from st mark's on the high st. when it was demolished in the late c20, as were so many here in lincoln.

tomb of sir thomas grantham and wife, 1561, in a right state. originally in old st. martin's, then moved to st.benedict's, now here. very old fashioned tomb chest for the time.

very restored early c13 south doorway, with little bits of saxon interlace let in above. did these come from st.mark's in the high st. when it was demolished at the end of the c20 ?

the church was locked , but is open around midday as a cafe it seems, but what a mess ! that carpet ! those chairs! the counter, doors and sign board ! perhaps with such a lot of good architecture here the locals no longer see it, but this church needs some tlc, and a more sympathetic makeover. good c13 arcade, meant to continue westwards.

teulon church of 1853, now seemingly a house, so where is the wilkinson monument? I suppose we must be grateful that this church didn't go during the dreadfully destructive late c20 purge of so many fine lincoln buildings, though it's difficult to see behind its electronic gates.
