I absolutely love this piece of art I saw in New George Street, Plymouth. On a piece of board outside a shop which is being refurbished, the two magpies are subtly stamped with the words 'None Here'. How true for so many in 2021.

A beautiful model of Truro Cathedral on the Trafalgar roundabout in Truro.

The model also looks good by day and the hedgehogs [qv] which share the roundabout have been covered in foliage so they can hibernate.

Not Made In China, 94 High Street (corner Leechwell Street), Totnes, Devon.

This shop, with very limited opening hours, used to trade also as a bear shop and has been redecorated externally. I note that there is still at least one bear in the window.

This picture, from a town with many niche shops, is dedicated to a dear friend whom I miss very much during the pandemic.

Making Tracks

A gorilla. which I take to be a former exhibit in the Great Gorillas Project of 2013, alongside the tracks of the miniature railway at Paignton Zoo which was out of use at the time of my visit.

The King Harry Ferry crosses the River Fal in Cornwall between the parishes of Philleigh and Feock. The current ferry, No. 7, is seen arriving at the Feock terminal (Trelissick).
