No maker is indicated, but it looks like the work of the C. S. Co. "Casta" may be a misprint for "Castor", a town in central Alberta. This is one of those postcards whose appeal seems to be enhanced by wear.

Grindell of Everton, Ont., with an enthusiastic message as follows: "Dear Aunt Annie: I had a fine time in "the Soo. The Corrie's and Campbell's were *very* nice to me. I had a splendid little trip down there to-day. Everyone on the boat was so nice I wanted to stay right on it. I have a boarding-house for the present anyway. I think I shall like the town. Winnie."

The card was published by J. A. McLarty of Thessalon with the number J. M. 2649. McLarty's Drug Store is visible on the left side of the street.

It looks like this a Stedman card but that is not stated. It is included in Smith's Stedman guide, however, so there can be little doubt that it's by Stedman.

Card mailed January 22, 1910 to Miss Fay Winslow, Chelsea Green P.O., London, Ontario.

"London" is written in a rather low-slung hand that made it look a lot like "Windsor", where in fact the card was sent, as indicated by the Windsor receiver. There is a very faint stamp next to this showing a hand with a finger pointing at the Windsor receiver. Inscribed in the hand is the word "Missent" and next to it is some sort of text that starts with "Please ..." It is too faint to make out. I've never seen this "hand" stamp before.
