My grandson Logan's football season began Friday night with a scrimmage game against Mississinewa High School. Looks like number 20 will be getting a little more playing time this year. :-)

Logan's last football game as a senior. It was the first game of the sectional playoffs against the number one ranked Bishop Luers Knights. The Luers won 63-14 and it was easy to see how they got their ranking. A real tough team that made rare mistakes and capitallized on every mistake of the opposing team.

My grandson Logan with his Dad and Stepmother at Senior Night. Eastern vs. Northwestern. His team lost to Northwestern. It was a tough battle for the two teams all night.

Long day at the gym today, but my grandson Logan won all five of his wrestling matches. Three in the 145 lb. class and two in the 152 lb. class/

My grandson Logan had three matches today and won his weight class. Two pins and an injury forfeit. The final match was not without controversy though when the Goshen wrestler tried to use Logan's mouth as a handhold ... with the expected result. I think the coaches and officials did more wrestling than the boys in the final match.

My grandson got his 100th win tonight with a pin of his opponent. 24 and 2 for the season so far. The two losses were by decision.

I finished two days of wrestling matches today. Logan won the match above and did great overall, but finally found some real competition in the last match and lost by decision. His team placed third out of 9. Alexandria had the best team there.

I spent the day watching Logan wrestle. Two days of matches over Christmas break. 5-0 today and 20-1 for the season so far. He's getting close to 100 career wins.

I spent a long day at the wrestling invitational in Marion today. It started out by leaving the house at 6:am and driving an hour and a half north to Marion. My oldest grandson Logan competed in the 145 lb. weight class today. He won all three of his matches with a pin and was the champion in his weight class.
