Paris, France. This street musician travels with his portable piano. He played quite well but few people stopped to listen and, as the photograph demonstrates, he was practically invisible to the people on the street, despite being a significant presence with his piano. We listened to him while sitting on the church steps, applauded his performance and made a donation. After his performance, he put his bench on top of the piano and wheeled it to a waiting van. He was one of many street musicians we encountered while strolling around Paris.

A double-crested cormorant on the Charles River in Watertown, Massachusetts. This is not a B&W photo. I had initially converted it to B&W but decided that I liked the more brownish tones and the red eye of the original.

You can show all of it or just part of it. Consider whether you want to illustrate a feeling (restfulness, fatigue, comfort, etc.) or a design example. Use your imagination to create an interesting photograph and have fun doing so.

I was not allowed to bring an SLR exchangeable lens camera into the venue so I shot this with my wonderful bridge camera (Panasonic DC-FZ1000M2). Although this camera was not designed for high speed sports photography, it rose to the challenge.

Sunday Challenge: Go to ChatGPT.com, Gemini.Google.com or any AI creative site that you like and create an image that looks like a photograph but clearly is not because of a whimsical additive.

The rat in the top hat and the older vehicle in the background make it clear that this is a computer generated image. It is eerie how the computer got the lighting and shadows correct.. This image was created using ChatGPT with a prompt to create a night scene in the 1920's in film noir style with a man staring at a lit window in an alley and a rat in a top hat.

Sunday Challenge: Take a photo of something that you have in your bathroom. It can be a fixture, a faucet, a soap bubble, an objet d'art, tile or even yourself coming out of the shower, provided that it is family friendly. You can make make it a more interesting photo by shooting it at an angle or shooting only a portion of the object to emphasize its shape. Get creative and show what you can do with a mundane topic.

Our shower surround is made out of frosted, textured glass. This provided an opportunity for an unusual portrait without the need for computer manipulation. My husband was kind enough to consent to be the model.
