Every year at Christmas we enjoy Poinsettias. It wouldn't be Christmas without them. They used to be mostly red or white, but now you can get them in bright pink too.

This is a photo I took many years ago of a special place in the neighborhood where I grew up. It used to have a great old barn that my friends and I went in one time when it was raining. It was full of loose hay and we had a lot of fun there. We had to climb a barbed wire fence and dodge our way around some unruly cows to get there, but it was worth it. The old barn eventually collapsed and this one was built in its place. It makes me think of this song; "40 Mile Town."

Here's a close up of the hood emblem on this nice old 1934 Ford. (It is a replica of the original.)

So this brings to my mind one of my very favorite singers, Paul Rodgers, since the first time I heard him with "Free." Here he is with "Bad Company" from their 1976 album "Run With the Pack"

This pic is leftover from our TSC challenge and couple weeks ago.

These are my husband's marbles... (lost a few, living with me, no doubt :) He's had these since 1964 and used to take them to school and play games with his friends at recess (remember that?) His grandma made him a little bag to carry them in.
