The double-deck bus on the left is part of the annual Palm Springs Modernism week, a very popular tour of Mid-century Modern architecture in Palm Springs. City Hall is considered to be a prime example of such architecture, but somehow I don’t think an anti-Trump rally was listed as one of the attractions.

Taken as we were just gathering for a protest called by Moveon for February 18th (President’s Day) to protest Trump’s efforts to declare a national crisis to fund unneeded and inappropriate extensions to the wall along the Mexican border.

Somehow I was a little slow on figuring out the ‘25 45’ and then realized that it meant: use the 25th amendment of the U.S. Constitution to remove the 45th president, Trump. The 25th amendment provides a means for the vice president (or his/her successor) to become president if the president resigns, dies, or is removed from office for health (including stupidity) reasons. Gathering for the January 19, 2019 Palm Springs Women's March. Considering that there were marches in LA the same day and many probably went in for that, the turnout was pretty good.

Unfortunately, the speaking went on way too long so I don't know if there was an actual march -- after an hour I gave up.
