Galloway Coach Travel 301 (FJ61 EVP) is seen loading as the 1200 National Express service 250 to Heathrow Airport via Colchester (1240), Marks Tey (1252), Braintree (1305) and Stansted Airport (1330-1340). Arrival times at Heathrow are scheduled for Central Bus Station (1510), Terminal 4 (1530) and Terminal 5 (1545). A Caetano Levante bodied Volvo B9R new in September 2011.

It is a Transbus (Alexander) ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL new October 2003. Entered at Showbus 2014. (The clock at The Cricketers hasn’t been advanced by one hour for BST!)

Friday 22 May 2015 (1027) - First Eastern Counties 69428 (AU58 FFP), a Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE new in January 2009, leaving the Old Cattle Market bus station in Ipswich. There must have been some sort of panic on because the driver seemed to have run down from Tower Ramparts to get a working bus possibly to replace a failed one. This should have been the 1018 from Tower Ramparts.

The iconic black glass building of the Willis Insurance Group forms a backcloth. The building was constructed in the early 1970s as one of the first projects of Foster Associates designed by Norman Foster and Wendy Cheesman. It has a rather bulbous footprint and sits within the area bordered by Princes Street, Friars Street, and Franciscan Way (and a footpath connecting the latter two). The rooftop features a rectangular unit housing the staff restaurant which is surrounded by a roof garden.
