I told him it was okay and he said when it was done he would send me a copy of the book. About a year later I get this neat little book in the mail. I thought I'd share this with all you cat lovers. My girls are so excited. (That's them on the right.) It was funny the different reactions from people. The ladies at the sushi bar were shy and didn't want to be in the picture. They said "you need someone younger" lol. The guy at the meat market was a total "ham" and the guy offering samples of flavored drinks was totally cool with it so I made him the star of the collage. It was really fun, but not without near tragedy. Right past the Asian Candy aisle I accidentally bumped my ISO setting from 160 to 6400. !!! So anyway, some pics are better than others. I think the style is so unique so I asked artist Mauro Marchetti to make this for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find this fabric at my local fabric store for the job. Some kind of fabric angels must have made it possible because it looks almost identical to the original fabric from back in the 1960s. I am so thrilled at the result! The best one was still out of focus, but I thought it would have been such a cute photo because it reminded me of a something you would see in a Beatrix Potter type of book.<br /> <br /> I don't know how to draw (yet!) so I looked around and found this photo editing place called pho.to and turned it into a water color and a charcoal sketch. I was pretty happy with the results.
