The Sedov was originally the Magdalene Vinnen II. Built in Germany in 1921. It served as a freight ship mostly. In 1945 confiscated by the British and given to the Russians. One of the biggest sailing vessels in the world.

Built in 1911 in Hamburg as the Senator Brockes. Originally it was a lightship, but from 1986 to 1994 the ship was rebuild as a sailing barque. Now a training vessel and a ship offering sailing trips all over the world. More info:
