Went to an hospital and the injury of Pat was caused, as we thought, by a 4cm long needle of a cactus that stuck in his ankle.

Rain, Rain, Rain...

Pat is injured at his ankle (a cactus or a snake?). The water in the creek gets dangerously high. We decide to stay a day here for "sightseeing". Will not go down to the Colorado River!

The sunrise at camp III was fascinating. Coloring the rocks in different shades of red. Joining the reds were the blues and blacks of the sky. No stable weather.
