Monday 22 June 2015 (1322) – GHA Coaches Optare Solo SL12 (YJ59 GFY) seen passing the Roman Amphitheatre in Chester when working ‘deebee’ service DB1 to Mold. The River Dee and the buzzing of buses and bees gives the network this name. New in October 2009.

Monday 29 June 2015 (1346) – GHA Coaches SN15 ETF seen in Barmouth. It carries branding for TrawsCymru service T3 from Wrexham to Barmouth (in Welsh the spellings are Wrecsham to Abermaw). It would have worked the 1110 service from Wrexham due Barmouth 1340 returning at 1430. An Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD new in June 2015.

Monday 22 June 2015 (0835) – Foregate Street, Chester: GHA Coaches BA58 GHA, a Wrightbus bodied Volvo working service 9 to Connah’s Quay, passes Arriva Cymru 4403 (J300 ABW), an Alexander-Dennis (ADL) Trident new in January 2009 as CX58 FZP, working ‘Sapphire’ branded service 1 to Wrexham. East Gate and the famous clock were undergoing restoration so sadly was only represented by a painted façade.

Sunday 21 June 2015 (1533) – A contrast in buses at Hartford, near Northwich.

BED 729C is an East Lancs bodied Leyland PD2/40S double decker new to Warrington Corporation (as number 48) in April 1965, which was waiting for a wedding party outside St John the Baptist Church.

It was seen with a more recent bus in the form of LJI 8023, an Optare Solo operated by GHA Coaches. The Solo was working service 82 from Chester to Northwich.

Monday 25 July 2011 (1407) - Bryn Melyn Optare Delta TIL 9872, an Optare Vecta bodied MAN new as M508 ALP to R & I Tours, London. It was later owned by Chambers of Bures before passing to Bryn Melyn. The Bryn Melyn business was at this time owned by GHA Coaches although the bus carries the yellow and blue livery used by Bryn Melyn before the takeover.

Monday 25 July 2011 (1609) - GHA Coaches YJ09 EZK is a short length Optare Solo (Slimline model I think) new to GHA in September 2010. It was parked on the Market Street bus and coach park prior to working the 1617 service 64 from nearby Parade Street to Glyn Ceirog via Chirk. Alongside is Bryn Melyn Optare Delta K758 SBB, new in February 1993 to Gateshead & District (#4758). Bryn Melyn is now owned by GHA Coaches, the yellow and blue livery was used before the takeover.

Thursday 28 July 2011 (0958) - GHA Coaches YJ09 EZK is a short length Optare Solo (Slimline model I think) new to GHA in September 2010. It was seen in the village of Glyn Ceirog loading for Wrexham on the 0958 service 65, a service supported by Wrexham Borough Council. It had arrived in the village at 0947 on the 0915 service 64 from Llangollen which is supported by Denbighshire County Council.

Monday 25 July 2011 (0755) - Two buses of GHA Coaches taking a short break in Llangollen. Left is W677 DDN, an Optare Solo new in July 2000 operated by Optare possibly as a demonstrator, which had arrived on the 0715 service 5 from Wrexham. Right is SK52 UTU, a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart new to H-A-D Coaches of Shotts, Scotland in January 2003. Both carry the branded livery which most of the buses GHA, and its associated company Bryn Melyn, operate on the Wrexham-Llangollen services.
