Notation: This is one of three scenes of dogsleds on the grounds of Lower Fort Garry that I have seen on postcards. One is a more panoramic view. The other two (including this one) seem to be have been from photos taken only right after each other. All of the dogs and people seem to be in both images, having shifted positions only slightly.

Notation: Owned by the Hudson Bay Company, Lower Fort Garry was donated to Parks Canada in 1951. It was leased to the Manitoba Motor Country Club continuously from 1913-1962. After that time, it was developed as a historic site.
