This type were built for use in munitions factories during the war - this one was used in a mustard gas factory. It was sold off to a quarry in the Blaeanu Ffestiniog area and sold again in 1963 to Aberllefenni Quarry. The NSM acquired it in 2008 with the intention for it to undergo restoration to working order. Another two are still in use on the Hythe Ferry Pier train.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

In this case, the lower half of the mould is exposed - the product will be a wheel, as shown standing on the corner, still with the risers and filler attached.&lt;br /&gt;

The one in the foreground seems to be loading a pattern into his wheelbarrow and the one at the rear seems to be about to tap (draw off) the supply of molten iron.&lt;br /&gt;
