View from the top station of the Masnerkopf lift in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski resort. This 6-seater chairlift transports up to 3,000 people per hour in just under 6 minutes to the proud height of 2,820 meters. Chairlifts at such high altitudes are rar.

Dieser 6er Sessellift befördert bis zu 3000 Personen pro Stunde in knapp 6 Minuten auf die stolze Höhe von 2.820 Metern. Sessellifte in so großer Höhe sind selten.

An interesting detail: The railway drives here - coming from the Wipptal from Innsbruck - into this side valley, makes a big turn and drives out on the other side again in the direction of Italy. This way she gains the necessary height without having to climb >2.5% (Good to see on OpenStreetMap).

Ein interessantes Detail: Die Eisenbahn fährt hier - aus dem Wipptal von Innsbruck kommend - in dieses Nebental hinein, macht einen großen Bogen und fährt auf der anderen Seite wieder heraus Richtung Italien. So gewinnt sie die nötige Höhe, ohne dass die Steigung >2,5% sein müsste (Gut auf OpenStreetMap zu sehen).

Last flights before the onset of cold weather. A few more pictures from height can be found in the PiP. However, not every time atmospheric conditions are ideal for filming. This time there was a quite perceptible (especially from height) haze, which could not be completely removed even by a photo editor.

Not far above the ladder is the ancient suspension bridge, which leads from the Exner tower (background) to the Brunecker tower (PoV) at an altitude of approx. 2,400 metres and makes it possible to get out of the via ferrata in the first place.

Nicht weit oberhalb der Leiter die uralte Hängebrücke, die in ca. 2.400 Metern Höhe vom Exner Turm (Hintergund) zum Brunecker Turm (PoV) herüberführt und den Ausstieg aus dem Klettersteig überhaupt erst möglich macht.

The highest rope bridge of Austria, situated at approx. 2.700 m of altitude underneath the summit of the Dachstein (2.995m, Styria, Austria). This bridge hasn't any serious function. It has been established for the amusement of tourist only.

Via the fixed rope route Fausto Susatti. Because of its southern orientation we could climb there that day - even at stormy conditions. In summertimes it is less funny to climb there because of the direct sun.

Über den Klettersteig Fausto Susatti. Da er südlich gelegen ist, also auf der windabgewandten Seite, war die Route an dem Tag - auch bei Starkwind - kletterbar. Im Sommer ist es dort in der direkten Sonne wenig lustig.

Ein wundervoller Frühsommertag in der Geierwand bei Haiming (Tirol, Österreich). Diese Kletterwand befindet sich westlich von Innsbruck. Unten im Inntal der Fluss, die Apfelplantagen und die Autobahn, die von Kufstein kommend nach Bregenz und in die Schweiz führt.
