Ein Blick in den Innenstadtbereich von Dinkelsbühl (Deutschland). Dinkelsbühl war im Heiligen Römischen Reich eine Reichsstadt, die direkt dem Kaiser unterstand und politisch weitgehend autonom war. Dinkelsbühl gehört zu den besonders gut erhaltenen historischen Städten in Süddeutschland. Dinkelsbühl blieb im Zweiten Weltkrieg weitgehend von schweren Zerstörungen verschont, da die Stadt kurz vor Kriegsende im April 1945 kampflos übergeben wurde. Das historische Stadtbild blieb dadurch im Wesentlichen erhalten.

A view into the historic city center of Dinkelsbühl (Germany). Dinkelsbühl was an Imperial City within the Holy Roman Empire, directly subject to the emperor and largely politically autonomous. It is one of the best‑preserved historic towns in southern Germany. Dinkelsbühl was spared major destruction during the Second World War, as the town was surrendered without a fight shortly before the end of the war in April 1945. As a result, its historic townscape has remained essentially intact.

The Spanish City, now a dining and entertainment centre in Whitley Bay in the North East of England, is referenced throughout the Dire Strait song "Tunnel of Love". At the time of the song’s release, it was a funfair with fair rides and other amusements.

Whitley Bay is also the home of Ann Cleeves, the creator of the crime series "Vera". Several of the murders in that series took place on the beach here.

I am aware that this is not a great photograph technically. However it is interesting for me because I used to live nearby.

Il y a plein de "Plus beaux villages de France", mais pour moi, Rochefort-en-Terre est vraiment l'un des plus beaux. C'est comme un voyage dans le temps, avec ses ruelles pavées, maisons à encorbellement, enseignes stylisées, et partout les fleurs soulignant la pierre - chaque détail est soigné ici.

A LITTLE GEM NESTLED IN THE HEART OF MORBIHAN. There are plenty of ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’, but for me, Rochefort-en-Terre is truly one of the most beautiful. It’s like stepping back in time, with its cobbled streets, corbelled houses, stylised shop signs, and flowers everywhere setting off the stonework – every detail is carefully tended to here.

EIN KLEINES JUWEL IM HERZEN DES MORBIHAN. Es gibt zwar viele "schönste Dörfer Frankreichs", aber für mich ist Rochefort-en-Terre wirklich eines der schönsten. Mit seinen gepflasterten Gassen, den Erkerhäusern, den stilvollen Nasenschildern und den Blumen, die überall das Mauerwerk hervorheben, ist es wie eine Reise in die Vergangenheit – hier ist jedes Detail sorgfältig gepflegt.

67 meters high and builded in one month are some of y the curiosities of this monument
