In this case a 105mm Nikon Macro lens so I could take the shots of the Milky way. lens sits in a support at the front and the Camera is in a support that I graduated so I can get rotation correct for framing purposes. This has been used on a number of lens as you can see below and worked very well.

105mm G lens

300mm D lens

50mm G lens

85mm D lens

The top part is made from a leftover piece of a range hood flue cover to hold the guide scope and allows me to get my hand in to focus the lens. the Flue was very bendy so I had to glue some Aluminum plate to hold the whole thing solid.

The computer velcros on to the side of the Flue and the Pegasus power bank Velcros next to the camera at the back . In all a very good working solution to using the lens to take astro photos.
