This makes me laugh - apparently a large portion of ipernity users don't like stating a preference for anything! Many people wouldn't even say what photographer they enjoy/admire for World Photography Day - and here, just as many people voted for the diptych as couldn't decide or chose not to even think about it.
The funny part is that one reason I asked for other peoples opinion is because I couldn't pick! So I join that crowd.

My husband, who has a lot of sway with me, voted for B, the sepia-ish version. He is a very decisive person in general. I continue to go back and forth, though I agree with a few people here that B stands well on its own, but that the diptych adds something. I'm going to bring it down to if I decide to show this in print somewhere, looking at prints will make it possible to decide!

Je trouve qu'André Kertész (1894-1985) est un peu oublié de nos jours et c'est dommage. Il a toujours fait partie de mes photographes préférés.

I rediscovered this beautiful snail shell in nature; a snail is even peeking out from behind it. However, I only wanted the shell as the main subject and opted for a black and white look with a warm high-key effect, which I really liked :))

J'ai redécouvert cette magnifique coquille d'escargot dans la nature ; un escargot se cache même derrière. Cependant, je souhaitais que seule la coquille soit le sujet principal et j'ai opté pour un rendu en noir et blanc avec un effet de lumière chaude, que j'aime beaucoup :))

When in the American Southwest earlier this year we visited Lower Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon on Navajo land and one is required to visit with a Navajo guide. The tour is quite expensive but very worthwhile.

The West Rim Trail in Zion National Park climbs from the canyon bottom and the Virgin River up the side of the canyon and through a narrow break to Scout's Overlook and Angel's Landing before continuing along the west rim of the canyon. Firenze, juillet 2009 . Je prenais un Coca à 8 euros le verre sur la Piazza della Signoria. Etourdi par les trésors artistiques et architecturaux de la ville mais aussi par la foule des touristes, j'avais, comme à mon habitude, sorti mon petit carnet de notes pour griffonner mes impressions quand l'oiseau est venu se poser juste en face de moi.

Autour de moi, les hommes parlaient ,la dame buvait son expresso et la lumière du jour découpait les ombres des bâtiments et des fontaines dans la parfaite indifférence de notre rencontre.

After watching one of our 2016 holiday videos the other night I was reminded to search out another Canadian Rockies scene for here. This lake is in Alberta, near Jasper and is 22.5km long covering an area of almost 20sq km at a deepest depth of 100 m. There are several glaciers running into here. We were only here an hour or two as the weather turned cloudy and cool but our memories remain vivid. PiP for another view.
