At its formation Libertybus placed 33 new Optare Solo single deckers, 6 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400D double deckers and 4 Fiat Ducato mini-buses in service as well as inheriting about 42 former Connex buses.

Left is Enviro400D 2606 (J 122043) and right is 1158 (J 86063), SC Coachbuilders (Caetano) Slimbus bodied Dennis Dart that had been new to Connex Transport Jersey Limited in April 2007. The Slimbus was a narrower variant of the Nimbus model. They were seen at St. Aubin’s.
Note the Public Vehicle Plates (PSV Char-a-Banc) carried on the vehicles. These are issued by the authorities and have no direct relationship to vehicle registration plates or operator fleet number.
Libertybus (CT Plus Jersey Limited) is part of the London based HCT Group and was awarded the contract to operate the public bus network on Jersey in January 2013. At its formation Libertybus placed 33 new Optare Solo single deckers, 6 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400D double deckers and 4 Fiat Ducato mini-buses in service as well as inheriting about 42 former Connex Transport Jersey Limited vehicles.

In May 2015 five Scania N230UD OmniCity double deckers were transferred from CT Plus, London that were new in February 2010 to operate Transport for London contracted services. As far as I can say the only bus I saw wearing this livery for Airtel and Vodafone was 2911 (J 127203) that was previously registered YR59 NPO in England.

There are very few high rise buildings on Jersey, in fact the four in the distance might be the only ones that are higher than some of the newer bank buildings which have about six or so floors. Our tour guide told us that the four blocks are the equivalent of council owned properties and the tenants have their rent charge deducted from their wages at source.

The bus is passing the States of Jersey Police Headquarters building - not the one used by Jim Bergerac though!

It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D new in January 2013 at the time that CT Plus was awarded the contract to operate the public bus network on the island. CT Plus Jersey Limited part of the London based HCT Group.

The main bus station (Liberation Station) stands behind the apartment block on the left beyond the bus. Opened in 2007 it can however only accommodate vehicles up to 3.5 metres high so the stands for services on which the double deckers are employed are located on the roadway outside.
