Wer es durchquerte, fand sich unvermittelt in einem Tunnel aus Bambus, Palmen und anderen exotischen Pflanzen wieder. Dazu zwitscherten Vögel aus dem Off - ein Stück Tropenparadies mitten in der Stadt. Viele haben sich gefragt, was es damit auf sich hat.
Die Stadtsparkasse Augsburg löste auf: Bei der tropisch begrünten Gasse handelt es sich um eine Installation namens "Stadtdschungel", mit der das Geldinstitut die Stadtgesellschaft auf die Bedeutung von Nachhaltigkeit aufmerksam machen möchte. ➽ Mehr Infos hier

➽ Das Kutschenmuseum Hinterstein in der Nähe von Bad Hindelang im Allgäu steht unweit des Bergbaches Ostrach in der Ortschaft Hinterstein. Das Museum ist ein äußerlich unscheinbarer Holzstadel. Im Garten sind verschiedene Kunstobjekte, Windspiele und andere Klangkörper in allen Größen sowie eine kerzenerleuchtete künstliche Grotte zu finden.

Der Stadel selbst ist in mehrere kleine Abteilungen aufgeteilt, die miteinander verbunden sind. An deren Wänden befinden sich viele Spiegel, an der Decke drehen sich Spiegelkugeln und verstärken die optischen Reize. Unterstützt wird die Stimmung innerhalb des Museums durch ununterbrochen spielende, leise Musik; die Besucher sind gehalten, im Museum nicht zu sprechen.

➽ The Carriage museum Hinterstein near Bad Hindelang in the Allgäu is near the mountain stream Ostrach in the village Hinterstein. The museum is an outwardly unassuming wooden barn. Various art objects in the garden, wind chimes and other sound bodies of all sizes as well as a candlelit artificial grotto are found.

The barn itself is divided into several smaller sections, which are connected together. On the walls there are many mirrors on the ceiling mirror balls rotate and enhance the visual stimuli. Support is the mood within the museum by continuously playing soft music and the visitors are prompted not to speak at the museum.

Bertolt Brecht wurde in dem Haus Auf dem Rain 7 am 10. Februar 1898 geboren. Das Haus befindet sich im Augsburger Lechviertel und ist ein einfacher, für das alte Handwerkerviertel typischer Bau. Unmittelbar vor dem Haus fließt der Hintere Lech vorbei, hinter dem Haus der Mittlere Lech. Es liegt also quasi auf einer "Insel", was man hier gut sehen kann. Quelle: Wikipedia

Bertolt Brecht was born on 10 February 1898 in the house Auf dem Rain 7. The house is located in the Augsburg Lech district and is a simple and for the old artisan district typical building.
