The tiny wheels & frame in the right foreground belong to a "dragster" ...
To see anything tasty in detail, you had to purchase a catalogue, as the display area was gated & policed - which I thought was a little disappointing.

Had quite a chat with them, as I have a "bag o' hammers" myself, and we shared a few jokes --- one careful owner, referring to the PO Telegram Bikes that were sold off many years ago.

I'm not yet a member, as the fee is not a huge amount, I am thinking of joining. If they have a "spars scheme" or an insurance deal then I'll definitely sign up.

The A70 Hereford apparently replaced the Hampshire in 1950 and was wider and slightly longer with an extra 3 inches in the wheelbase.

This one must have been the subject of a complete restoration at some point because this lovely old truck was immaculate. Very, very nice indeed!

The Catalina name was used by Pontiac from 1950 to 1981. Initially, it was used strictly to denote hardtop body styles, first appearing on the 1950 Chieftain Eight and Deluxe Eight lines.

However, in 1959, the Catalina became a separate model, as the "entry-level" full-size Pontiac.

Produced in various formats, this is the very desirable two-door fastback version.

Would I have one? Is Santa busy at Christmas? Of course I would! And, for those that like it as much as I do, please note there are 5 shots in this series.
