It seems to me that training liveries are often far more inspiring than the associated company schemes. In service, this vehicle ran in the inevitable and stultifyingly boring London red.

There is little to excite me in the London bus scene of 2022 but I was pleased to see this Mellor Tucana bodied Volkswagen Transporter, D8155/FJ69ENX of London Dial-a-Ride. The location is Holloway Road a little north of Seven Sisters Road.

North Weald airfield in Essex, a mecca for aviation enthusiasts, is also a bit of a wonderland for buses. One present on this visit was Optare Solo M850 RRZ5654 with legal lettering for Galleon Travel and Central Connect titles. There is also evidence above the entrance of the former Trustybus branding.
