Ansel was a man of many talents although I am grateful that he found his true calling - photography.  His photos of the natural beauty of the West served to garner public support for the preservation of such areas within the National Parks system.&lt;br /&gt;

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens with a Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Kodak Portra 800 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
