Spotted on top of a pair of post boxes in Emsworth, Hampshire.............a couple of great examples of urban knitting with a maritime theme.

They're great fun so I took some photos to share :-))

Some of you may know that this year is our monarch's 70th year on the throne. There will be various events celebrating this over the next 6 or 7 months. I don't normally take much notice of this sort of thing but I spotted this decorated post box and couldn't resist taking a couple of photos. (See the PiP for a close up).
