The rail bridge (the concrete one) has been tested and was opened for traffic on 1st September 2014; after various lengthy delays. The replacement road bridge has not been started, and will result in the destruction of the original (1867) listed timber bridge. (it was to have been kept as a cycle / foot route).

To celebrate the restoration of the old Cemaes Bay lifeboat, and harbour day, the Tyne 47-17 "Robert and Violet" from Moelfre and Severn 17-41 "Christopher Pearce" from Holyhead class 'boats visited.

Mersey Class "Mary Margaret" ashore at Conwy Marina for some attention - possibly to the anti-fouling. (hull number 12-28 and ON 1187) She is currently listed as in the relief fleet.
