Es ist Kirschblütenzeit.
Ich liebe es, unter dem Blütenmeer entlangzuspazieren, oder mich an den Straßenrand zu setzen und die Leute zu beobachten, wie sie sich freuen.
Diesmal wollte ich nicht schon wieder nur die gleichen Fotos machen (s.PIP), daher habe ich die Minimenschen mitgenommen.

Feast your eyes on this terrific collection of old Beetles as spotted at VW North West 2011. The green one nearest the camera is from 1952 whilst the beige one next to it is a 1956 model ... absolutely beautiful.

Couple of alternative versions from the 'processing room', one HDR and the other in a painterly style, can be found in the Notes.

Because the Macbook is still broken and I haven´t Photomatix software on the old Macbook, I've converted to an HDR image by hand in Photoshop. The background I wanted to have black and white, so that the small VW better comes into its own. The license plate is, of course, changed.

This is a scanned photo from my Brazil vacation in 2004. In the triangle (Brazil-Argentina-Paraguay) near the Iquazu waterfalls we made a one day trip to Paraguay. It was so shockingly unlike the tidy Brazil.
Today, I sure would make the screen layout differently. Nevertheless, I like the photo. Have a great week, friends!
