Araukarie in Deutschland - HBM! (5 klickbare PiPs)

In Deutschland sind Chilenische Araukarien gar nicht so selten, man sieht sie oft in Vorgärten als Zierde - oder hier, als Schauexemplar im Botanischen Garten von Braunschweig.

Aber so gewinnt man nur eine schwache Vorstellung, wie diese Bäume in ihrer Heimat wachsen. Dort werden sie 30 bis 50 Meter hoch und erreichen Stammdurchmesser von bis zu 2 Metern und werden bis zu 2000 Jahre alt. Wenn wir also noch ein wenig warten, kann auch dieses Bäumchen noch beeindrucken ;-)

J'étais assis au McDonald quand cette Reine américaine bien en chair pénétra en marchant sur ce jeu d'échec géant avec ses pantalons éléphants laissant paraître discrètement ses beaux doigts de Pieds !

I was seated at this Mc Donald restaurant's table when this BBW Queen Lady entered.....walking gracefully on this big Chess play letting me see her toes down her elephant pants.

Taken at our hotel in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This bench is carved from wood in the form of the state of Michigan. Upper Peninsula is the back, sides are the Lower Peninsula.

(Note that the bench back is NOT a fish, it is indeed in the shape of the Upper Peninsula.)
