Euryops
L'Euryops (dite aussi marguerite de savane) est une plante de massif, avec de très belles fleurs jaunes. Elle fait partie de la grande famille des asteracées.
Elle offre une jolie floraison du printemps à l’été et elle est facile d’entretien. La variété Euryops Pectinatus peut fleurir tout au long de l’année.

In Stuttgart's zoological-botanical garden (Wilhelma) the paeonias were in full bloom just after Easter, 3 weeks earlier than last year. I managed to catch the last few in early May.
In the main photo a yellow hybrid, in the PiPs the pink ones which go back to the mid 19th century when Wilhelma was created as a private pleasure garden for King Wilhelm I.

January of 2015 I was visiting Mexico City. My friend Boris de Swan asked me on the final day of my stay where I would like to go. The UNAM (National University), I answered. I wished to see the spectacular wall murals created by David Alfaro Siqueiros at this famous university.
Eleven months later Boris died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home. With this photo I pay tribute to him. His wit and talent as a photographer inspired me and I shall always remember him fondly.

This photo was taken with a Kiev 60 medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Flektogon 4/50 lens using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Along a very nice walk near Painswick in Gloucestershire, the path runs through a country estate. Tocknells Court is a historic and architecturally significant Grade II* listed detached country house surrounded by around 40 hectares of private land, complete with 16th century barns.

It was last sold in 2020 for £4.3M / €5M, so, while delightful, it's a little out of our price range!
