Post barokaj dancoj en barokaj kostumoj estis prezenzita danco, kiu ja jam ekzistis fine de la 18a jarcento, sed en tiu ĉi kutima formo estiĝis nur en duono de la 19-a jarcento. Do ĉar pro teknikaj kialoj ne eblis tuj ŝanĝi adektvajn vestaĵojn, temas pri ioma historia miseto -  tamen&lt;br /&gt;
plaĉis al mi la prezentaĵo, tial mi ne povis rezisti al ĝia publikigo:-)&lt;br /&gt;

Gek Adii, the dancer learned the dance in her school, where learning the Balinese dances is a compulsory subject for students from the primary school classes.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

Dancers came from six countries as part of a Southeast Asia cultural exchange. The dances are full of meaning, with each gesture symbolizing something, from great concepts such as love and peace to small. A finger to the sky means "today" arms crossed over the chest "very happy," and the left arm stretched out behind the dancer’s right hand held up before the chest with three fingers up and index finger touching the thumb depict the Naga, the great many-headed snake that symbolizes the spirit of the Cambodian people. It was not until 1995, a full sixteen years after the fall of the Khmer Rouge, that Cambodians once again witnessed a public performance of apsara dance, at Angkor Wat.During the mid-20th century, it was introduce to the public where it now remains an celebrated icon of Khmer culture often being performed during public events, holidays and for tourists in Cambodia.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

The servants are deeply concerned about her appearance and send for the &lt;b&gt;prime minister.&lt;/b&gt; The &lt;b&gt;prime minister&lt;/b&gt; arrives, followed by the queen herself. The queen is desperate about having to sacrifice her son, but Kaleka, the student of the witch  casts a spell on her and the queen changes her mind, starts beating her son and orders the prime minister to lead Sadewa to the cemetary where the witch lives. At first, the prime minister refuses to do so, but the student of the witch casts a spell on him as well and Sadewa`s fate seems to be sealed.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

It is also another story telling dance, narrating the fight between good and evil. This dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality.&lt;br /&gt;
The story goes that Rangda, the mother of Erlangga, the King of Bali in the tenth century, was condemned by Erlangga's father because she practiced black magic. After she became a widow, she summoned all the evil spirits in the jungle, the leaks and the demons, to come after Erlangga. A fight occurred, but she and her black magic troops were too strong that Erlangga had to ask for the help of Barong. Barong came with Erlangga's soldiers, and fight ensued. Rangda casted a spell that made Erlangga soldiers all wanted to kill themselves, pointing their poisoned kris into their own stomachs and chests. Barong casted a spell that turned their body resistant to the sharp kris. At the end, Barong won, and Rangda ran away.&lt;br /&gt;
The masks of Barong and Rangda are considered sacred items, and before they are brought out, a priest must be present to offer blessings by sprinkling them with holy water taken from Mount Agung, and offerrings must be presented.&lt;/div&gt;</description>
