    <title>Rannock Moor over Lochan na h-achlaise</title>

A place of wild grasses, lakes and mountains which also has the distinction of being one of the coldest places in Britain during our winters. &lt;br /&gt;
Here we see the small Loch (Lochan) of ‘na h-achlaise’ with the mountain ‘Stob a’ Choire’ at 945 m behind. This is part of the Black Mount traverse. &lt;br /&gt;
Notice the paddle-boater on the water. PiP's   &lt;br /&gt;

Ben Amera (or Amira; Arabic: بن عميرة) is Africa's largest monolith,[1] rising 633 metres (2,077 ft) above the desert floor. It is the world's second-largest[1] monolith, after only Uluru in Australia. Ben Amera is located in Mauritania, near the border with Western Sahara. &lt;br /&gt;

A nice parking area of the road from where we can see magnificent mountain scenery all around. Here I am looking south over the loch in the direction of ‘Bridge of Orchy’.  The mountains we see here are known as ‘Black Mount’. Next stop, the  Rannoch Moor viewpoint before glen Coe.&lt;br /&gt;

It was last sold in 2020 for £4.3M / €5M, so, while delightful, it's a little out of our price range!&lt;/div&gt;</description>

&lt;br /&gt;
Ben Lomond is the most southerly Munro (a Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet). Rising to 974 meters (3,196 ft), it is located on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is highly accessible from Glasgow and offers stunning loch views.&lt;br /&gt;

Each evening we sat for above an hour watching the sun go down almost at the centre of this scene. We see here on the left The Island of Rum, then with a bigger space than it appears here from the centre (Point of Sleat) , the Isle of Skye. There is a big gap between the two islands. If I went wider angle here we would also see the Island of Eigg to the left of Rum and further on the right, the rugged Torridon Mountains of Skye.&lt;br /&gt;
