Fanal Forest Park - Laurus novocanariensis
The Laurel Groves of Fanal belong to the mystical Fanal Forest, a volcanic caldera plateau in the municipality of Porto Moniz, on the island of Madeira. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this area is home to one of the greatest relics of the Laurissilva forest, with centuries-old, twisted trees enveloped in a characteristic mist.

Wenn man diese Dinge fotografiert,fangen auch gleich die Gedanken bei einen Shooting an,was kann ich noch machen mit diesen Motiv,nachdem ich zuerst die ganzen Scheiben fotografiert hatte,kam mir die Idee,sie in die Hälfte zu schneiden und eine andere Kreation einer Scheibe zu machen,meine Ergebnisse mit den Nebel und den Lichtern :))

When you photograph these things, your thoughts immediately start flowing during a shoot: what else can I do with this subject? After first photographing the whole slices, I had the idea to cut them in half and create a different slice composition. Here are my results with the fog and the lights :))

Quand on photographie ces choses-là, les idées fusent dès la première prise de vue : que faire d’autre avec ce sujet ? Après avoir photographié les tranches entières, j’ai eu l’idée de les couper en deux et de créer une composition différente. Voici le résultat avec le brouillard et les lumières :))

Lagangarbh Mountain Hut is an iconic and historic mountain hut nestled in the dramatic Glencoe area of the Scottish Highlands. Often affectionately known as "the wee white house in Glen Coe," this distinctive white structure stands at an elevation of 280 metres at the foot of the majestic Buachaille Etive Mòr, near the River Coupall. (between hut and bench)

It is an old croft house, owned by the National Trust for Scotland and maintained by The Scottish Mountaineering Club, note the row of trees to help prevent the roar from the prevailing south-westerlies.

This is a part of the Devils Staircase Trail

This is a photo from last year, but this morning's weather feels very similar!

In the misty background is the church at Frampton on Severn in Gloucestershire. It's a charming village, with what is said to be the longest village green in England, and is about 22 acres (9 hectares) in size. There is a cricket pitch at one end of the green, which is, conversely, one of the smallest in England!
