At Aldeyarfoss river Skjálfandafljót drops 20m over the basalt colums of Suðurárhraun lava field.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The waterfall can be reached via road 842 (turnoff from the ring road near Goðafoss) through Barðardalur. At the end of the valley the road turns into mountain road F26, Sprengisandsleið, one of the great highland crossings. Aldeyarfoss is 5 km along F26.&lt;br /&gt;

Entre el cuidado de mi compañera, que se recupera de una operación complicada, y el día a día con Abby, que también necesita mi atención, el tiempo parece escaparse entre las tareas del hogar y las responsabilidades que no pueden esperar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
La fotografía, que siempre ha sido mi refugio, ha tenido que tomar un segundo plano. No es falta de ganas, sino de minutos. A veces, cuando logro robar un instante, miro las publicaciones de otros en Ipernity y siento esa chispa de inspiración, pero también la certeza de que, por ahora, mi energía debe estar en otro lugar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
No he desaparecido. Estoy aquí, aunque sea en silencio, observando y valorando el trabajo de todos vosotros. Cuando la vida me dé un respiro, volveré con más imágenes y historias que compartir. Una mañana en la duna fósil, entre el silencio y el viento, el sol dibujó lo que yo no había planeado: mi sombra, larga y persistente, y un caminante que avanzaba hacia lo desconocido. No eran los filtros ni el trípode los que crearon esta imagen, sino el giro inesperado, el instante en que dejé de mirar a través del visor.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Y tal vez, sin querer, la luz guardaba el eco de un preset que, como un viejo carrete, me recordó que a veces lo digital también puede oler a película.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

This is the seaward side of the headland at the end of the fence.  It is interesting  &lt;a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombo_Headland_Quarry_Geological_Site" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;&lt;u&gt;for its geology,&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/a&gt; with a distinct change in the rock type visible, even better seen large.  Of course, it also makes a good wall, so Happy Wednesday Wall, everyone.&lt;br /&gt;

Alle drei sind Teil des Anden-Hauptkamms. Die beiden letzteren liegen auf der Grenze zwischen Chile und Argentinien, Guallatiri ganz im Norden Chiles nahe der Grenze zu Bolivien. Der Stratovulkan ist von einem schrumpfenden Gletscher bedeckt und hat aktive Fumarolen. Im ersten PiP ist deutlich ein alter Lavafluss zu erkennen.&lt;br /&gt;

Vor allem morgens zu Sonnenaufgang sind nach den bis zu -20°C kalten Nächten die Dampfsäulen der mehr als 100 Geysire, heißen Quellen, Schlammquellen etc. gut zu sehen.&lt;br /&gt;

Several years ago they found a deep crack right under the main path, now the path runs on a bridge over it.&lt;br /&gt;

From 930-1262 Lögberg (Law Rock) was the centre of the Alþing ("general meeting", i.e. the Icelandic parliament). Anyone attending the assembly could speak there as all important matters were discussed and decided. After Iceland's union with Norway in 1262 the Alþing lost its legislative power which was only restored in 1904.&lt;br /&gt;
