Dieses Mädchen von El Bocho befand sich ganz in der Nähe - an der Kreuzung zur Otzenstraßen. Heute ist das Kunstwerk vielfach übermalt und überklebt.

Diego dem 7. (PiP) ist das sicherlich egal. Die Besitzer nehmen immer wieder verwaiste Erdmännchen auf und ziehen sie groß.Meist bleiben sie dann bei ihrem menschlichen "Rudel". Der erste wurde wegen der damaligen Fußball - WM nach Diego Maradona benannt. Nach einigen Jahren sind wir nun beim 6. oder 7. Diego. Der größte Feind solcher einzelner zahmer Erdmännchen sind die halbwilden Ziegenhütehunde, die ohne menschliche Aufsicht die einheimischen Ziegenherden hüten und vor Raubtieren beschützen. Ich habe vor einigen Jahren erlebt wie so ein Diego sich mit uns ganz mutig fühlte, mit uns mitkam und dann nicht zurück konnte, weil die Hunde die er vorher unter unserem Schutz gefoppt hatte, ihm nun auflauerten. Ich habe ihn dann wieder zurück gebracht und in der Lobby dem Personal übergeben ;))

Der alte Ortskern von Le Castellet liegt auf einer Anhöhe, von der man einen herrlichen Blick Richtung Süden hat. Hinten sind die Berge des Gros Cerveau zu sehen, die ein beliebtes Wandergebiet sind. Die Mauer an der Rue Décugis dient auch schön als Ablage für den Fotorucksack. Breit genug ist sie ja.

The Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) with its colourful façade was built from 1422 in Gothic style. Work on the impressive building lasted 14 years. In 1576, the building was modified with a Renaissance-style stepped gable. The bells at the top bear the date 1617. There were also changes in the 16th and 17th centuries. The town hall was renovated in 1885/87 and the façade paintings were renewed in 1972-1975 based on 19th century originals

The facade, decorated with paintings, a covered staircase leading upstairs, jagged shapes and a beautiful Renaissance door - all this makes it one of the mosty beautiful buildings in South Germany.

The rooms on the upper floors of the Altes Rathaus are still regularly used for meetings of the city council and committees as well as for receptions. The Reichsstädtische Bibliothek (Imperial City Library) and municipal archive are located on the ground floor.

So eine Burgmauer ist eigentlich ein Mittel der Gewalt. Aber für den Falken ist es Heimat. Und vielleicht ist er froh über den schmalen, kaum sichtbaren Spalt, in dem er seine Jungen aufzieht.
